Ocean Rescue Program

The Pebble Beach Fire Department’s Ocean Rescue Program is dedicated to ensuring the safety of residents and visitors along our stunning coastline.
Staffed by highly trained firefighters, the program provides rapid response to water emergencies, including swimmer rescues, boat incidents, and surf-related hazards.
Equipped with specialized Rescue Watercraft (RWCs), Inflatable Rescue Boats (IRBs), rescue boards, and specialized Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), the water rescue team works closely with US Coast Guard, State Parks Lifeguards, and other partner agencies to deliver expert lifesaving services while promoting ocean safety and awareness throughout the community.
