• Forest Lake Reservoir Project: Good for Fire Safety and the Environment
  The Forest Lake Reservoir retrofit was recently completed at a cost of $12.7 million to increase recycled water storage capacity equal to the annual water use of over 1,000 homes!
  
• Forest is now safer for pedestrians and motorists
  District contracted with California Highway Patrol (CHP) to increase enforcement in the Forest at no additional cost to residents. Also, vandalism has significantly decreased since the Monterey County Sheriff's Department has aggressively pursued these cases.
