1. Third Priority Fire Protection Water
Pipeline Replacement Project
A
recommendation is included in Agenda Item Number 15 to increase the scope of the
Third Priority Fire Protection Water Pipeline Replacement Project to include the
final segment of the new water pipeline located near Monterey Peninsula Country
Club.
2. Fourth Priority Fire Protection Water
Pipeline Replacement Project
A recommendation to approve an agreement with E2 Consulting Engineers for
preliminary engineering services for the Fourth Priority Fire Protection Water
Pipeline Replacement Project is included in Agenda Item Number 16.
3. 2005 Sewer Line Replacement Project
Final contract
retention was released to D’Arcy and Harty Construction, Inc. for the 2005
Sewer Line Replacement Project. E2
Consulting Engineers is completing as-built plans for the project.
4. Pump Station SCADA System Improvement Project
New instrumentation controls are operating at all eight wastewater
pump stations and communicating with the District office. Instrumentation programmer Doug Buck is
completing integration of the new SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data
Acquisition) system with the District local area computer network. Tesco Controls is developing software
programming to allow integration of Forest Lake Reservoir improvements with the
District SCADA system as well as several reclamation project locations
including the 2.5 million water storage tank and the Viscaino backup potable
water pump station.
