           Subject:          Status of Capital Improvement Program Projects

1.  2006 Sewer Line Replacement Project

 

Pacific Trenchless executed a construction contract for the 2006 Sewer Line Replacement Project.  A pre-construction meeting is scheduled for early September and field work is scheduled to commence in October.  E2 has earned $61,339 or 68 % of the budget of $89,540 for engineering design and construction management services. 

 

2. Third Priority Fire Protection Water Pipeline Replacement Project

 

Installation of the remaining site water lines for the Third Priority Fire Protection Water Pipeline Replacement Project was completed at the Monterey Peninsula Country Club construction project.  A final payment of $8,400 will be made to Monterey Peninsula Engineering.

 

3.  Fourth Priority Fire Protection Water Pipeline Replacement Project

 

E2 Consulting Engineers (E2) continued final design work on the plans and specifications for the fourth priority fire protection water pipeline replacement project, which should be ready for bidding in September.  E2 has earned $19,865 or 8 % of the budget of $249,760 for engineering design and construction management services. 

 

4. Reclamation Storage Tank Interior Rehabilitation Project

 

The interior of the 2.5 million gallon water storage tank located of Viscaino Road near the Poppy Hills maintenance yard is scheduled for rehabilitation this winter.  Fieldwork will be scheduled for the winter season when Forest Lake Reservoir

 

5. Underground Fuel Storage Tank Replacement Project

 

The underground fuel storage tanks and fuel piping at pump stations P-3 (Spyglass Hill Road and 17-Mile Drive) and P-7 (18th Fairway of Pebble Beach Golf Links) are scheduled for repair this fiscal year.
