Subject: Status of Capital Improvement Program Projects

1. Third Priority Fire Protection Water Pipeline Replacement Project

Installation of the remaining site water lines for the Third Priority Fire Protection Water Pipeline Replacement Project will be coordinated with the Monterey Peninsula Country Club construction project and field work is scheduled for completion before the end of June.

2. Fourth Priority Fire Protection Water Pipeline Replacement Project

A recommendation to approve the scope of work for the Fourth Priority Fire Protection Water Pipeline Replacement Project is included in Agenda Item No. 13.

3. 2006 Sewer Line Replacement Project

A recommendation to approve the plans and specifications for construction of the 2006 Sewer Line Replacement Project and authorize an invitation to bidders is included in Agenda Item No. 12.

4. Pump Station SCADA System Improvement Project

Tesco Controls installed instrumentation hardware and software programming required to integrate the Forest Lake Reservoir site, the 2.5 million gallon recycled water storage tank, the Viscaino backup potable water pump station and pump station P-8 with the District SCADA system. A fiber optic line was installed and is communicating between the Maintenance Department offices and the Forest Lake site.
