1. Third Priority Fire Protection Water
Pipeline Replacement Project
Monterey
Peninsula Engineers, Inc. (MPE) made good progress on the Third Priority Fire
Protection Water Pipeline Replacement Project completing installation of 3,700
feet of water main line on
MPE has earned
$1,172,844 or 75 % of the revised contract amount of $1,573,959. E2 Consulting Engineers has earned $230,219 of
the budget of $265,000 for design and construction support engineering
services. The project completion
date has been extended to August to account for additional work near the MPCC
clubhouse.
2. 2005 Sewer Line Replacement Project
A
recommendation to award a construction contract for the 2005 Sewer Line
Replacement Project is included in Agenda Item Number 13.

has commenced construction of the

A status report for construction of the Forest Lake
Reservoir Components of the Expanded CAWD / PBCSD Wastewater Reclamation Project
is included in Agenda Item Number 11.
5. Pump Station SCADA System Improvement Project
SBC completed installation of the network telephone
equipment required to allow connection over DSL lines between each pump station
location. New instrumentation controls
are operating at all eight wastewater pump stations. Alvarez Technology telephone technicians and instrumentation
programmer Doug Buck are completing integration of the new SCADA system with
the District local area computer network.
